I got in a scrape today!
I was slow off the mark feeding the blackbirds and one very cheeky fellow decided to come into the cottage looking for the goodies. I'd left the front door wide open because it's very hot again today and in he came
Helping him to find the way out again was very tricky. He got in a flap and made quite a bit of mess and lost a few feathers too! Eventually, he sat very still while I talked to him and managed to open the window ... I left him to it and eventually he flew out ... but not before he left me another big "message"
