I was absolutely delighted with the response to the "Pass the Book" Valentine's Day giveaway and loved hearing about your favourite childhood books. I have made two prizes
The Winner
The winner gets the book that Emma - Silver Pebble first donated to the "Pass the Book" giveaway. Emma covered the book and decorated it with her lovely illustrations and I was the first recipient
"Time Remembered" by Miss Read is a charming book about a young girl moving from London to live in the countryside, discovering a deep love of nature and an idyllic childhood school life - you will love it!
The book is to be read and then passed on through your blog to another reader (with a few handcrafted goodies) but you get to keep the goodies!
The winner's goodies are:
- Lovely milk chocolate hearts to enjoy while you are reading the book
- Valentine's day red heart fairy lights
- A little wire heart which I beaded with black/silver beads
- A red heart card topper I stitched
- Red/gold heart ribbon
- 3 packets of red beads
- A Gisella Graham red metal heart that says "Best Wishes"
- Three hand crafted mixed media tags that I made - each tea dyed and distressed with copper metallic paint and distress ink, decorated with paper hearts, ribbon, text, vintage lace, printed calico and buttons
- A "lucky penny pocket heart" that I made from cotton and velvet with a little calico pocket on the front that contains a button and a real penny for good luck!
