Red, White and Blue ...

We were delighted to discover this dresser which was left behind in our cottage by the previous owner. I rescued it by cleaning it up and giving the shelves some pretty lacy edging. It's the perfect little place to display my collection of blue and white pottery


















I made the "Home Sweet Home" cushion decorated with primitive hearts












On top of the dresser I keep a small collection of "Americana" things - a couple of primitive grungy stars & stripes cushions, a Bridgewater stars & stripes mug, a cranberry star, a heart hanging and an Uncle Sam doll. The tea pot is Bridgewater toast and marmalade and says "Earl Grey" on the side
